Not because of money or popularity, but because I know my message is genuine and straight from the heart, and I think it will hit home for a lot of people. And I have the ability to tap into how others feel, so I know I have the power to change the world ?

  • Yaassssss. Once again this video is perfect for me today. I know there are a million t shirts on the market but I'm determined to make my vision stand out. I'm on the move being above average. My first design was cool but I listened to my investors and added options. I've lived a life of average and missed out on so much. Now that I know how to live I will continue to encourage others to LIVE LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST…

  • All of the accomplished leaders, that I have known personally, never stop reading, attending seminars, watching videos and listening to tapes or cd’s and consulting with other leaders in related and UNRELATED fields. They have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and how other 5%ers think and accomplish. It does two things for these leaders. First, it keeps them “sharp” and mentally active like an Alzheimer’s patient doing the daily crossword puzzle. Second, it offers additional paradigms to consider that enhance their creative abilities. They realize that to remain on top, especially in our current ever-changing world, they must continue to make PROGRESS. Success is not reaching a goal. It is a never-ending PROCESS. These Rituals of success enable them. Back in the day, when I was selling, we were always given a sales pitch. One of the reasons that the 80/20 rule is so prominent in sales is because some people are more “natural” sales people than others. BALONEY! If you knew the hours and hours of practice it takes to become a good salesperson, you would discover that there is no such thing as a natural salesperson. I was fortunate to have some great mentors. I was fortunate that they taught me to use a tape recorder and listen to myself selling. Watching yourself on a videotape is even better. There are so many aspects to being a great salesperson such as making appointments, securing prospects, getting referrals, using your hands and your eyes, smiling, putting the client at ease, posture, and on and on. The devil is in the details. Of course, that’s where excellence hides as well. Studying the masters is the key to success in everything. Here is my major point. It is natural to find a successful person, the 5%er, and copy what they do to be an outstanding achiever. I say this because nature has offspring copy their more successful parents at birth and in childhood to survive and thrive. When you are pursuing “unchartered” territory, copy the formula of those that pursued “unchartered” territory before you. Plan, do, review, be committed and expect temporary failure. IT IS PART OF THE PROCESS. IT IS A LAW OF NATURE. Do not let failure deter you from your committed outcome but rather use it as INSPIRATION to continue. Don’t feel that you always must follow the crowd. A man who wants to lead the orchestra must turn his back to the crowd. Do not become embarrassed when you are not perfect in your performance. Copy the 5%ers that realize success is the CONSTANT CORRECTION of a series of failures. Do not ever feel that your education is complete. Continually stretch yourself to develop new skills. Remember to drill, practice, rehearse, and review to make your movements seem natural and smooth to others. Then do it again! Too often, leaders and their followers become satisfied after reaching a goal. Remember the differences between being Goal Conscious vs. Growth Conscious: GOAL CONSCIOUSNESS GROWTH CONSCIOUSNESSFocuses on a destination Focuses on the journeyMotivates you and others Matures you and othersSeasonal LifelongChallenges you Changes youStops when a goal is reached Keeps you growing beyond the goalAs a mentee:1) Possess a teachable spirit2) Always be prepared for the time you get with your mentor3) Set the agenda by asking great questions4) Demonstrate how you’ve learned from your time together5) Be accountable for what you’ve learnedIf you want to be around growing people, become a growing person. You are who you attract. It is key to find a motivational catalyst for yourself, your leaders-to-be, and your team. A Kenyan Olympic champion was asked how such a small country could produce so many long-distance GOLD Medal winners. His answer was: “It’s the road signs. “Beware The Lions’”. On the road to reaching your vision, there will be roadblocks. Some of these may seem insurmountable. Have faith. Faith is trusting in ADVANCE what will only make sense in reverse. Be prepared to change your paradigm and find a way to rewrite the so-called rules. “There ain’t no rules around here! We’re trying to accomplish something.” Thomas Edison It is necessary to tell you some of the “why’s and because’s” people are unable to become successful. We are human and subject not only to the frailties of our species but also the shortcomings of the society that we live in and its influences. My goal is to inoculate you from copying mediocrity by exposing the virus so that you may recognize it when you see it.

  • I want to become more than what I think, so for now my mind is full of positive things just like the video i watched yesterday (10 ways to invite POSITIVE into your LIFE).I have organized my friends to start up a business which we have identified the kind of business to embark on. Now our problem is, can you do business with other organizations without you being registered as a business entity? How do you manage your time in relation to your job, family and other activities. How often do you have time with your family and time for us?Thanks, you are now like a father to me

  • I want to have one of the biggest music blogs in the world. My first one was okay, I blew opportunities, was disorganised, self-defeating, on and off, unmotivated etc. Second blog nearly identical thing but then one day I decided I had to do something productive with my life, I started the blog over, now I'm working with people who are Grammy winning producers, connecting with people signed to major labels across the globe, being invited out to LA (from the UK) to photograph artists who've just signed major deals. Put the BS in your life, your personal problems to one side and make your thing the one thing you're good at, the one thing that matters no matter what problems you encounter in life.

  • Make a checklist of your daily goals. Check them off as you complete them. As you are taking actions & completing your checklist, you will think of new things to do. Keep adding to the list as your day continues. When you fill up the page, create a new list with the uncompleted daily goals. Complete. Repeat. Complete. Repeat.

  • Thanks a lot for this video, Evan. Really enjoyed it! ?Side note: Recently saw Kris Jenner's top 10 (another nice video) and noticed the timing side bar you briefly mentioned. Personally, it distracts me from getting fully immersed in the video. Once I see the video length, I mentally prepare myself to watch it regardless of the length for each rule.Nevertheless, thank you so much for walking your talk. You & your team are truly awesome!
