  • The school system didn't screw anybody. The system was set up to have a higher number productive people in the country. Those who didn't excel with the system are those who aren't intellectually gifted. Genetics and environment are the main predictors of an individuals success.

    • Melbester9 People create goals within their range. Goals that they know are achievable.

    • I'll give you an example. I met Christopher Russo a few years ago at the NY International Auto Show when he was doing a radio show live on Sirius outside Javits Center, talked to him for a bit and took a photo with him.He was just starting his new show High Heat on MLB Network around that time. He has a Bachelor's in History and had speech problems and he's one of the best and known sports radio and TV hosts in the country. He went to school and did nothing in the area of communications which is his career field and he's successful careerwise and financially. That's my point I'm making. You the person determine your success. The system is just there to keep things in check but at the end of the day, you create your success.

    • Melbester9 The success that a person's create very well predictable. A highly gifted mathematician and physicist has more chances of winning the Nobel prize and a hobo. People with higher intelligence chance for higher more complicated success. Success is not just something that anybody can choose. What I mean by that is for example a 5ft tall man won't become the next Michael Jordan. Just like a person with an IQ of 100 won't become the next Newton.

    • +The physics channel. I understand where you're coming from. In my own perspective from my own experience, character, faith, enjoying what you do in an area or career field that you enjoy so much that you are the best at. With that and organization/discipline in what you enjoy to be the best person at you enjoy doing for a living, you create that success. Tai has said this before, success isn't all about money. To many people it is, but to others they have other views on success. That's why I said that success depends on the person's motive/goals.The whole point to this video was not the topic success but having alternatives to have other ways to generate income besides a full-time job/career.

    • Melbester9 I understood the purpose of the video. I just made a comment against it because I hate people who blame the school system for their lack of effort and intelligence. That's all.

  • The country in which you are investing must respect and protect private property rights. Communist (e.g.. North Korea) and socialist (e.g.. Venezuela) countries will not and cannot protect private property rights. Focus on "western" (capitalist) countries with legal protection for private property rights.

  • I read the book "The One Thing" by Gary Keller, and I want to follow the principles in that book by focusing on creating one asset for myself before creating another one. But is it effective to try to create two assets for yourself at the same time using your spare time? I know that the answer to this question isn't black and white and I plan to run experiments to get an answer for myself, but I just want to see if anyone else has some input that I can run with.
