  • Those statue should not be removed instead put it there to remind us of the imperfections of humanity

Earth In Chains August 13, 2017 5:05 AM Reply
    • thats not what they do in germany, in germany they get rid of all memorabilia of the nazism but of course white americans cant reciprocate the same humanity and instead want to hold on to racism

    • Earth In Chains remove it and put it in a museum and it stays reserved. Problem solved everyone happy. People focusing on small things instead of focusing on money

Billion Dollar Biscuit August 13, 2017 7:32 PM Reply
    • Xavier Zee “hold on to racism” are you kidding me? It’s a part of American history, enough said, you shouldn’t remove your nations history no matter how heinous. Germany made a mistake by getting rid of that

The Level Of Irony August 13, 2017 7:58 PM Reply
    • Billion Dollar Biscuit indeed small things, why waste too much energy & emotions with such ephemereals. I'd say lets start educating people to focus on what is really important. Among these is time w/c is rapidly depreciating people focusing on garbage.

Earth In Chains August 13, 2017 8:28 PM Reply
    • The Level Of Irony As a German can guarantee you it was not a mistake. You do not need either Nazi or Confederate statues to remember the history of your country. Btw to the guy who said that they are "holding on to racism". They are only doing that because 1) they are uneducated. 2) they lost their manufacturing/coal related job to outsourcing or automatisation and have nothing left.

  • Depends, currently any "player" with mediocre skills can wipe a AI in most "chess" games. I find even my best friends find a bot match struggling. (They are better than me. ) Psychology and AI warfare is a touchy subject. I'm not a professional monitor. But I have a sold grasp that AI is purely Simulated good or evil. A mix would be corrupt either way, nearly impossible in my eyes. Just like how a satellite receives and sends it's purely the money behind the machine. A proper usage for AI would be to answer questions humans can't like a calculator. Rinse and repeat on Illuminati machinery. Earthly objects being used for spiritual outcomes.

I learned big lessons of life – and the fact that's you're the only one who set your limits. So: I haven't come far on my way forward to big success, but you've giving me the tools. Thank you.

  • "He who has choice has problems." Is an excellent quote! That is why I choose to commit down my path all the way, it's just one thing, no choice and so I'm always happy. LOL

Sharif Sourour August 13, 2017 2:16 PM Reply
  • 11:20 "The more important the decision, usually the less intelligent we become. We become more emotional. We think about it longer. We use more emotion vs objectivity." <— This absolutely explains why otherwise usually intelligent people make absolutely irrational decisions, at the worst possible times! Thankfully I've gone super deep into my spirituality, so it's hard for a decision to move me in the first place, and even if the choice does make me feel emotional, I can step out of that feeling, making sure I can see the big picture instead and then I consider the decision. This works much better than just going with some emotion as I've done that before and it is not the way to go, it always leads to a worse decision. This relates back to my previous point, that when you singularly commit, all decisions, no matter how major, become secondary to your longterm path. Thus it's just a matter of whether the choice serves that path or not, and then it's easy to decide where to go from there.

  • I think the statue should be left up and let's teach kids ALL of the history of the country. I believe by taking down these symbols of the Confederacy we are glossing over what happened and what they did. So let the Robert E. Lee statue stand as a cautionary symbol of what can happen.

Michael Upshur August 13, 2017 3:42 PM Reply
    • Michael Upshur we don't need statues for that… Wtf… We can have statues of abolitionist and union leaders to teach the same thing

  • When I have to deal with a denier of (man induced) climate change, I first ask : "If I can bring you a – perfect – proof that current climate change is man made, critically dangerous & happening very fast, will you change your mind? The kind of solid proof/demonstration like dropping an apple to show gravity exists." If the answer is no even in that ideal case, then I stop the conversation because his position can't be changed by rational thinking : the belief isn't based on the will to establish what is true or not but on other motives.

    JVLdesign August 13, 2017 4:05 PM Reply
    • But you are not saying at all that this perfect proof exist?

luka zupie August 14, 2017 9:25 AM Reply
    • Indeed. It's a way to test if I'm about to lose my time or not. If I get a yes, then there is a better chance that I'm dealing with a sincere truth seeker and not going to lose my energy presenting my best arguments. "Best" isn't perfect, but anthropogenic climate change is a complex, multi-dimensional topic therefore all those cryptic clues have to be considered by open minds and with the will to apply the scientific method rigorously, and accept the result even when we don't like it.
